Domain Profile & Microsoft 365 Lookup
Onboarding a new client or supplier, or working out who to call? Enter a domain to see who provides its email, whether it's on Microsoft 365 (with the tenant ID and sign-in type) or Google Workspace, and who hosts its DNS and website, all from public information.
- Microsoft 365 tenant
- Email, DNS and web hosts
- Cloud services in use
Where this comes from
- Microsoft 365: Microsoft's public sign-in discovery service says whether a domain belongs to a Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) tenant, whether sign-in is managed by Microsoft or federated to another system (such as ADFS or Okta), and the tenant ID and region.
- Services: many cloud services ask owners to prove control of their domain with a DNS TXT record, so those records show which services a business has set up.
- Hosting: from the domain's nameservers, mail servers and website address, plus the headers of its home page.
Good to know
- Everything shown is public: anyone, including attackers, can see it. Attackers use the same details to plan phishing, which is why sign-in with multi-factor authentication matters.
- A TXT verification record can be left behind after a service is no longer used. Tidy up old ones.
