How it works
- Opening this page gives you a private clipboard with a random 16-character ID.
- Copy the link and open it on the other computer, or type the ID in there. Reading it out over the phone? Press Short code for an 8-character code that works for 15 minutes.
- Anything either of you adds appears on both screens within a couple of seconds.
- After 48 hours, or as soon as you press Wipe now, everything is permanently deleted.
Security
- The ID stays in the part of the link after the
#, which browsers never send to servers or logs. - Content is encrypted with a key derived from your ID, so the stored data is unreadable without your link.
- Images, documents and zips are checked for disguised or harmful content (hidden macros, programs, auto-run actions) before they're accepted.
- Anyone with the link can see and wipe the clipboard, so share it only with people you trust.
- The Connected devices list shows the IP address and connection times of every device that opens the clipboard, so you can spot anyone unexpected.
